Three Top Awards Are Given To FCA Canada From 2020/ Le Guide De L’auto

2020 has not yet even started yet, and FCA Canada is already looking forward to an award-winning year. From the 2020 Le Guide de l’auto / The Car Guide Best Buy Awards, three of its models, the Ram 1500, Jeep Gladiator, and Chrysler Pacifica (manufactured in Canada) won top honours for their categories, full-size pickup truck, compact and midsize pickup, and minivan. Both the 1500 Ram and the Pacifica Chrysler were repeat winners.

“From pickup trucks to our Windsor-built minivans, leadership and creativity are foundations for every vehicle we produce,” said Reid Bigland, President and CEO of FCA Canada. “The trio of awards from Le Guide de l’auto reveals that the brands we showcase break through the noise and resonate with critics alongside great customer approval.” In this year’s awards, the editors judged vehicles in a total of six different categories— driving experience, fuel economy, overall safety, vehicle reliability, and infotainment — to determine the winners.

The new 2020 Ram 1500 provides drivers with a new option to power their trucks with the 3.0-litre EcoDiesel V6 engine. This powerhouse delivers 480lb-ft of torque and the vehicles that come equipped with this option can tow up to 12,560 pounds.

You can spot the Jeep Gladiator from miles away and the exterior look is complemented by Jeep’s longstanding ability to conquer any terrain. The Chrysler Pacifica is at the top of the line when it comes to the minivan categories and has been given the most awards of any minivan for three straight years in a row, being 2016, 2017, and 2018. Its innovative technology, superior safety systems, and family-friendliness make it hard not to buy for families.
